WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As a member of the Global Planning Analytics team, you will play a fundamental role in providing teams across Converse with a clear source of truth for governed data products (partnering closely with Technology), dashboards, and insights. We aim to empower our stakeholders with the capabilities needed so that they can harvest key learnings and make strategic, proactive business decisions.

Within the Global Planning + Inventory function, our scope spans forecasts, inventory, sell in (order book), and sell through (point of sale) information. The business leverages this data to optimize long-range planning activities, inform factory buys, and manage in-season levers. You will also have an opportunity to work closely with functional partners such as Product Merchandising, Integrated Go To Market, Finance, and Technology.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The candidate needs to have the below traits and skills.

  • Bachelor’s in Analytics, Information Technology, Economics, or Business.
  • Proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with SQL preferred. Familiar with Snowflake and basic joins ideal.
  • Proficiency with analytics visualization tools preferred: PowerBI, Tableau, or Sigma Computing.
  • Excellent English oral and written skills.
  • Detail oriented, strong ownership and self-motivated.
  • Open-minded, quick learner. Comfortable with ambiguity. Flexible to change with team-oriented collaborative nature.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • Prepare analytics deliverables in support of the Global Planning Data + Analytics team, directly focusing on Planning, Inventory, and Integrated Business Planning objectives.
  • Assist with ad-hoc analysis to provide insights on marketplace health and product performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across functions such as Finance, Integrated Go To Market, Product Merchandising and Converse Technology to support Global Planning Data + Analytics Leads in bringing end to end projects to life.
  • Maintain Global Planning Data + Analytics certified workbooks/tools, ensuring they are up to standard and endorsed.
  • Monitor data quality issues and provide prompt communication to both business stakeholders and technology.
  • Own Confluence site to ensure all data product business glossaries are up to date.
  • Assist in implementing product enhancements in partnership with Converse Technology.
  • Assist in supporting team Communication + Change Management activities, supporting preparation of monthly newsletters and assisting with strategic roll out updates for major initiatives.
  • Assist in maintaining Planning Analytics website, ensuring that all content is up to date with the latest standards, priorities, and policies.
  • Assist in providing data literacy/training to business stakeholders when needed.
