The Sales Representative for Western European Inspire Basketball Specialty Partners builds and develops strong relationships with key basketball‑focused retail partners. This role works cross‑functionally to unlock the full potential of the Converse brand, while leading the strategy for the basketball specialty channel across multiple Western European territories.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

You will own the Western European Inspire Basketball Specialty partner portfolio, strengthening relationships and growing the Converse business in alignment with the integrated marketplace strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the Inspire Basketball Specialty partner marketplace in line with the Integrated Marketplace Strategy

• Identify and onboard new Inspire Basketball Specialty partners across Western Europe

• Collaborate with Customer Operations, Business Planning, Go To Market, Merchandising, Retail Marketing, Finance, and Commercial teams to deliver business goals

• Own long‑ and short‑range seasonal forecasting across marketplace and product

• Translate the Western Europe Converse strategy into long‑term plans for the basketball specialty portfolio

• Act as a team player within the Inspire team, sharing insights and supporting collective objectives

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

The role works closely with direct reports, the Senior Manager for Converse Western Europe Inspire, and senior stakeholders within partner organizations.

The role is part of the broader Western Europe Commercial team and engages with key regional stakeholders to support accounts within the portfolio.

The role is based at Converse EHQ in Hilversum, The Netherlands, with travel required to meet retail partners.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Passion for the Converse brand and culture

• Passion for basketball culture, spanning both lifestyle and performance

• Account management experience, ideally within basketball, sports, sneaker, or fashion industries

• Proven experience in a sales role and/or buying and merchandising

• Strong commercial acumen with experience in financial forecasting and understanding of the gross‑to‑net process

• Experience negotiating trade terms

• Detail‑oriented and results‑driven, with the ability to plan, analyze, and execute effectively

• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive business decisions

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix‑oriented environment

• Proven ability to build strong relationships with complex external stakeholders
