WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

You will be part of the Converse Materials Sourcing & Manufacturing team within the Global Sourcing & Manufacturing organization. You will report to Senior Manager, Vendor Management & Operations – Converse. This role partners closely with footwear material suppliers and internal stakeholders across Product Creation, Engineering, Sourcing, Costing, Quality, and Sustainability, and reports to the Senior Manager, Materials Manufacturing & Operations.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Materials are foundational to product performance, quality, consumer experience, and brand expression at Converse. We are seeking an Analyst II, Materials Manufacturing to support the lifecycle management of footwear material suppliers and help drive consistent manufacturing performance across delivery, quality, cost, and sustainability.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, execution‑focused, and comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, matrixed environment. You are able to translate business and product needs into clear actions with suppliers through strong analytical thinking, and effective communication. You enjoy building strong working relationships with material suppliers, driving day‑to‑day execution, and continuously learning footwear materials, manufacturing processes, and supply chain operations.

You are collaborative, adaptable, and proactive in navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and cross‑functional ways of working across a global manufacturing network.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in materials manufacturing, footwear production, or supply chain.

  • Working knowledge of footwear materials and manufacturing processes is strongly preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross‑functional teams.

  • Solid analytical, planning, and basic project management skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively across functions and cultures in a matrixed environment.

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

In this role, you will manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of footwear material suppliers, developing and maintaining strong, trust‑based partnerships to ensure suppliers effectively support Converse product and material needs. Through disciplined execution and ongoing engagement, you will help drive consistent performance across delivery, quality, cost, and sustainability.

  • Managing the lifecycle of footwear material suppliers, from onboarding and seasonal execution to ongoing performance management

  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers to support Converse product, capacity, and material requirements

  • Driving supplier performance against delivery, quality, cost, and sustainability expectations

  • Monitoring supplier performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and escalating issues with clear data, insights, and recommendations

  • Partnering cross‑functionally with Product Development, Engineering, Sourcing, Costing, Quality, and Sustainability teams to support material readiness and resolve execution challenges

  • Executing structured supplier engagement routines to ensure clarity on priorities, commitments, and continuous improvement actions

  • Supporting standard processes, tools, and reporting to strengthen supplier transparency, accountability, and long‑term materials manufacturing capability
