WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH 

As Senior Manager, Integration and Automation for Converse Technology, you will be accountable for leading technical capabilities across technology Platforms, Supply chain and Marketplace domains. The India Technology team supports global work for all sales channels enabling Converse to sell its goods globally in retailers all around the world.  You will be accountable for the delivery of technology that is supported and/or by the India team domain team that is needed to Converse business to meet and exceed its growth goals.  Partnering with global Converse technology teams will be key to successful growth in all aspects of technology delivery and operations.  Additionally, strong collaboration and partnership with Nike Technology teams will be an important leverage point for this role.  A successful candidate needs to have enthusiasm to enable AI orchestration.

Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering in ITC, you will work with internal teams across technology and business functions Supply chain, marketplace, technology enablement, Operations, Global Partners Markets, Demand Planning, Supply Planning team etc. 

WHAT YOU BRING 

Required Skills: 

  • BE/BTech - degree in Computer Science or equivalent. MBA preferred

  • 12+ years of hands-on industry experience in developing data science models to inform key business decisions.

  • Experience in developing technology solutions for Planning, order management, Merchandising, and ecommerce is preferred. 

  • Backend & Frontend Development: Build integration (EDI, MFT, API, Fusion etc)- Create secure, high-quality, full-stack applications (React, Angular, or Vue.js for frontend) (Java/.Net/Python/Node.js for backend) that interact with AI models via RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

  • AI Agent Development: Design, build, and implement AI agents and copilots using frameworks such as RAG

  • Explore and integrate AI-driven automation tools to enhance process efficiency and decision-making

  • Solid experience in DevOps, Deployment & Optimization: Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI-driven applications using containerization Docker, Kubernetes.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

  • Document processes, best practices, and maintain compliance with organizational standards.

  • Agentic Workflows: Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to enhance agent knowledge and accuracy

  • Hands-on experience with Azure/AWS cloud native platforms.

  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases

  • Experience with: Git, Git Actions, Sonar (SonarQube)

  • Significant experience in automation platforms (such as RPA, iPaaS, GenAi, Agentic AI, MCP or similar), systems integration, and project management. Strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively are essential for success in this role

  • Understanding Python, Proven experience working with modern data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks and their AI capabilities, enabling scalable data processing, collaborative development, and efficient model deployment.

  • Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and technical excellence.

  • Strategic thinking and leadership in prioritizing projects, managing stakeholder expectations, and translating complex data insights into actionable business recommendations.

  • Excellent communication skills to influence cross-functional teams and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A growth mindset and commitment to staying current with emerging trends in AI,

  • Experience with AI/ML technologies, or a strong interest and demonstrated eagerness to learn and apply AI driven solutions to improve engineering productivity and system outcomes, and operational efficiency

  • You will work closely across different technology and businesses domains to answer key questions about how to design the best products, line plans, and assortments to serve athletes and consumer experience.  You will ideate, develop, and operationalize solutions for bringing a consumer lens to key decisions facing Product Creation, Order management system, Merchandising, different planning, Operations, and consumer teams.

  • You will lead multiple engineering squads to deliver scalable platforms and consumer/enterprise applications—setting technical direction, elevating engineering quality, and enabling fast, reliable delivery.

  • Contribute hands on engineering work, including building and enhancing services, integrations, and automation supporting enterprise platforms.

  • Key responsibilities include overseeing the development and deployment of automation solutions, managing a team of technical professionals, setting clear objectives, and ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • The Senior Manager will evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, promote best practices, and work alongside IT and business stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes.

  • Will also be responsible for creating detailed project plans, monitoring progress, and proactively addressing any challenges to ensure timely and successful delivery.
