Role Summary

The Converse Asia Finance Director role is a senior leader responsible for driving financial strategy and supporting business growth in Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan) and South Korea. This role works closely with the Converse Global CFO and Asia General Manager, leading a diverse finance team, co-piloting the business, shaping regional strategy, and ensuring financial integrity and operational excellence.

Reports to: VP-Converse Global CFO

Main Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic financial advisor to Asia leadership team, supporting business decisions and shaping regional strategy.

  • Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the Asia region, including long-range plan, budgets, forecasts, and performance reviews.

  • Provide clear financial insights to drive growth and profitability.

  • Optimize resource allocation and evaluate key business initiatives.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team

  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-achieving team culture.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years’ experience in finance, including 3 years in senior leadership roles.

  • Background in large, multinational companies, preferably in consumer goods, retail, or apparel.

  • Full P&L management and team leadership experience.

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin.

  • CPA or ACCA certification preferred.
