The annual base salary for this position ranges from $69,300.00 in our lowest geographic market to $137,000.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Global Supply and Inventory Planning team brings data, insight, and strong cross-functional partnership together to keep Converse product flowing to consumers around the world. This role partners closely with Commercial, Product, Channel Planning, and Marketplace Operations teams, and reports to the Senior Manager, Supply and Inventory Planning within Converse Global Planning.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate brings experience in supply chain or inventory planning and is confident balancing detailed execution with data-driven analysis. They are organized, proactive, and comfortable owning recurring processes while continuously looking for ways to improve them. This person works effectively both independently and collaboratively, communicates clearly, and translates inventory insights, risks, and priorities for a wide range of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to connect inventory decisions to broader business objectives.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory planning, supply planning, demand planning, or a related operations function
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • Working knowledge of supply chain and operations processes, with a strong understanding of inventory fundamentals
  • Exceptional attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage work independently
  • Advanced Excel skills required; SAP experience is a plus

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

In this role, you’ll own key elements of the monthly buy process, monitor inventory performance, and partner across planning and operations teams to keep product flowing efficiently for your assigned product category. You’ll use data to inform decisions, surface risks early, and help drive continuous improvement across supply planning processes. A typical day or week may include analyzing purchase order and sales orderbook data to identify trends and actions, responding to production and order updates from liaison offices, refreshing and sharing inventory performance reporting, and creating or adjusting purchase requisitions and orders in SAP.

You’ll work closely with the Converse Global Supply and Inventory Planning team and cross-functional partners including Marketplace Operations, Channel Planning, Factory Liaison Offices, and Merchandising to:

  • Forecast monthly buy volumes to maximize service levels while minimizing excess inventory
  • Execute buys through analysis of current inventory positions, production lead times, and consumer demand
  • Create and adjust purchase requisitions to ensure accurate purchase order volumes
  • Partner with Factory Liaison Offices on production follow-ups and post-buy adjustments
  • Communicate supply-related risks and performance updates, including on-time delivery and order fulfillment
  • Maintain healthy inventory levels through disciplined buy planning and partnership on liquidation actions when needed
  • Deliver ad hoc reporting, analysis, and system updates as business needs evolve
