Role Purpose

This role goes beyond execution of retail strategies at Key Door / Hub Door level. It is responsible for business judgment, problem definition, and medium-to-long-term optimization design. Through data insight, store diagnostics, and cross-functional collaboration, the role drives sustainable retail performance and develops into a future-ready retail leader with successor potential.

Key Responsibilities

1. Retail Judgment & Business Optimization

• Analyze Key Door retail performance aligned with overall retail and channel strategy.

• Integrate sales and operational data with on-site observations to define problems and prioritize actions.

• Design differentiated retail optimization approaches based on client and store typology.

• Lead or co-lead medium to high complexity retail optimization initiatives with accountability for results.

2. Store Diagnostics & Consumer Experience

• Conduct systematic store diagnostics across merchandising, flow, service process, and staffing.

• Evaluate key consumer touchpoints and identify experience improvement opportunities.

• Review effectiveness of retail actions and continuously refine approaches.

3. Methodology & Capability Building

• Build and refine scalable retail analysis frameworks, judgment models, and tools.

• Enable partners and internal teams through project collaboration and professional influence.

• Share insights and gradually take on broader and more complex responsibilities.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, Planning, and Finance to align decisions.

• Translate frontline insights into actionable inputs for product, marketing, and channel strategies.

• Navigate complexity and drive alignment through sound business judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above; retail, business, or related fields preferred.

• 5+ years of retail or relevant experience with both store operations and analytical exposure.

• Strong business judgment and structured thinking capability.

• Ability to integrate data, on-site insights, and commercial logic into clear recommendations.

• Strong communication and influencing skills in matrix environments.

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Proficient in both Chinese and English.
