WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The candidate will be on the North America Direct Planning & Allocation team. They will partner closely with buying, planning, site merchandising, DC and store operations teams to determine and execute their allocation strategies.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The candidate needs to have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Requirements from the candidate include:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
3-5 years of experience in Planning, Allocation or Inventory Analyst roles.
MS Office, including advanced Excel skills.
Strong retail math skills.
Excellent knowledge of Excel and MS Windows applications, knowledge of the Just Enough allocation system and Tableau a plus.
Demonstrated strategic thinking, analytical and leadership skills.
Strong listening, written and oral communication skills.
Positive attitude and focus on team and cross functional relationships.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
The role will involve executing precise and timely allocations by leveraging sales data to support company inventory objectives, sales targets, and specific product initiatives. You will allocate merchandise to stores at the style, color, and size levels, consistent with store needs.
Allocation of all products in the assigned category to achieve sales and inventory targets.
Weekly flow strategy and unit shipment forecasting, including replenishment for seasonal or core product, to ensure optimal inventory productivity.
Seasonal allocation flow strategy partnership with cross-functional teams including planning and buying.
Effective communication and partnership with store teams to assess inventory needs and challenges such as over or under capacity issues.
Build partnerships and be an advocate for stores across the organization.
Drive the allocation of all products in your assigned category by thinking creatively and challenging established norms. Ability to question traditional allocation methods and propose innovative ways to deliver improved sales and inventory performance.
Communicating floor set goals and peak season shipment forecasts to DC and store partners with focus on any risks/opportunities.
Perform seasonal analysis of size-break scales.
Store segmentation analysis - leverage size, color, regional, seasonal recapping to drive higher inventory productivity.
